Plant-based Inks
Most textile transfers – even water-based ones – still rely on fossil resources. These are needed to form a strong film, but they are non-renewable and their production contributes to greenhouse gas emissions.
Bioflex transfers represent a major step forward: both inks and adhesive powders are made from biomass, derived from plant waste and algae. This transfer consists of 28% biomass – an impressive share for a transfer that remains strong and durable. The remaining mass includes water and fossil ingredients, such as fillers and pigments.
Why “Only” 28% Biomass?
Because sustainability should never come at the expense of quality. A transfer made entirely from biomass but wearing out too quickly would shorten the lifespan of the garment – which is not sustainable either. Bioflex therefore combines a significantly lower ecological footprint with the durability you need.
